Das Hausprojekt ist als Mehrgenerationenprojekt angelegt, in dem Kinder und Familien in allen Formen und Größen willkommen sind.
Neben diesen Ansprüchen verbinden wir mit dem Erwerb eines Hauses das Ziel, dem Trend von steigenden Mieten und der damit verbundenen Ausgrenzung von vielen Menschen in Berlin entgegenzutreten. Indem wir als Gemeinschaft dem Immobilienmarkt ein Haus entziehen, stellen wir ein konstantes Mietniveau sicher und hoffen, somit vielen Menschen in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Mietshäuser Syndikat auch in ferner Zukunft bezahlbaren Wohnraum zugänglich zu machen.
Für die finanzielle Abwicklung des Projekts gründen wir gerade eine GmbH. In dieser werden wir in Form unseres Hausvereins als Gesellschafter_innen vertreten sein, angestrebt wird außerdem eine Beteiligung der Mietshäuser Syndikat GmbH als zweite Gesellschafterin.
Für den Erwerb des Hauses wird ein Bankkredit aufgenommen. Um eine Finanzierungszusage für den Bankkredit zu erhalten, werden voraussichtlich mindestens 20% der Gesamtkosten für das Projekt an Eigenkapital benötigt.
